Youth Activism as Cultural Expression

Activism was no longer limited to formal political participation; it became embedded within everyday creative expression.
This reflects a broader transformation in youth movements worldwide. Social media platforms allow political messages to spread through emotionally engaging and culturally recognizable formats, making activism more accessible to young audiences who may feel disconnected from traditional institutions. At the same time, the article suggests that digital activism is deeply tied to visibility. Cultural content often gains traction more effectively than formal political messaging because algorithms prioritize emotion, creativity, and shareability.
